Field Soil Submission Sheet – The sample ID is the name you give the samples so you know where they came from.

Shipping sample tips

Sample boxes can be picked up at your local county UT Extension office. You can also fill a sturdy quart plastic bag to submit soil samples.

Results will be mailed and e-mailed within 3 to 5 business days. If you do not hear from us after the 5th day, please contact us.

Fees can also be paid by credit card using the secure UT Institute of Agriculture eMarketplace site.

Helpful tips:

  • The sample ID is what you wish to name the sample for your records.
  • The organic matter, soluble salt, or texture measurements will not affect the fertilizer recommendations.
  • Sulfur recommendations are based on soil type, management, and crop to be grown (not based off the sulfur test value).
